Hello all....
Not much to speak of here. We've been commuting to Hico and back every weekend. It's been fun to get to see everybody whenever we want. And now that mom and dad are right on the way, we'll be stopping in on them, too! Isn't that great!
I seriously am so very happy we've landed back in Texas. Such a great place! Zach went to get his hair cut this evening at a place called "Yesteryear Barber Shop." It was a really cool place and the folks there were really nice. Their hours were 8-6 and we walked in a little after 6 and they cut his hair anyway! Without any grudge! It's just rare. We've not seen hospitality like that in a while.
The doctor's office called today about my bloodwork and they said all is well. It was a normal test. I wasn't worried about it and I had honestly forgotten about it until she called. Last week was a different story though. I got a call while I was in Andrews and the lady said she was from Dr. Flower's office and that she had some information for me about my blood test. She didn't sound too chipper either. She went on to say that she was "sorry, but unfortunately ...." my heart just sunk and my head was spinning. All the thoughts of what if flashed through my mind and I was ready to hear what she had to say. "Unfortunatlely, we've misplaced your recent sample and we need you to come in and give us another." Wheewww! Thank God!!! Just a little human error on their part. I went in on Thursday and my lovely sister accompanied me. So that was a little drama. Also, the last blood-drawing episode was actually quite pleasant. I wish I could take Ms. Brandy with me to the hospital! She's so smoothe! It also made me decide to be a blood donor. I also found out I am A Positive blood type. Cool.
I have an embarrassing pic of Greg. I am tempted to put it on here. It's not too bad. Just him being a Solid Gold Dancer at our wedding. It would definitely cause a stir!
