OK ... the wait is over. We needed to wait to tell all the in-laws before we posted on the site. The ultrasound on Thursday revealed a pretty clear picture for us. We're super proud to announce that we're having A GIRL!!!!

Although tech said she's not 100% sure, which she is supposed to say, I have known for a while. It was a very strong almost spiritual feeling I had. I had told a lot of my friends and family I thought she was a girl, but I wasn't going to bet on it. I guess that teaches me to trust my instincts!

I am feeling a lot better and I am ready to start preparing for her. Oh yeah! We have also settled, finally, on a first name. After much debate and creative wrangling, as soon as we both heard it, we knew it was right. Zach came home from work the other day and said he thought he had it. When he told me it settled in my heart like I had heard it before.

Her name will be Sadee! My dad and sister's middle names are Dee, after my PaPa so we were able to plug that in there. We are now struggling with the middle name. We want either a mono or trisyllabic middle name. If any of you out there can think of what goes great with Sadee ------ Cryer, then be our guest!

So now it's crib sheets and bright colors in my mind for a while!

Thank God I have something so wonderful to occupy my thoughts. Zach found out last week that he has to go to his academy on November 9th. It's about 2 weeks sooner than he was going to go. But at least now he's back before our anniversary! Yeah! Then he has to go to the second one on March 3 and the baby's due date is the 13th. We talked to Dr. Flowers about this and she said she had no problem inducing if the baby is is good shape. Thank GOD!! I sure hope it all works out for Zach but I am prepared if he can't make it. There are daddies in Iraq who are missing the same thing. I am just thankful my soldier will only be two states away.
