So I get these weekly updates from Babycenter. Here's today's:
Hello, Andra!
"Your baby, just over 1 1/2 inches long and about the size of a fig, is now almost fully formed. Her hands will soon open and close into fists, tiny tooth buds are beginning to appear under her gums, and some of her bones are beginning to harden. She's already busy kicking and stretching, and her tiny movements are so effortless they look like water ballet. These movements will become more frequent as her body grows and becomes more developed and functional. You won't feel your baby's acrobatics for another month or two — nor will you notice the hiccupping that may be happening now that her diaphragm is forming."
I find it so funny that the baby is the size of a fig. In that case, the baby is the size of a Fig Newton! Hmmm... Newton. I don't really like that little boy name, but here's a name I am in love with right now for a boy: Cord Augustus Cryer... makes my heart flutter a little bit.
Here's the scene I play out when my son (BTW, still don't know if it is a boy, but I have a gut feeling) is the capable husband and father of 2 or 3: "Your tractor broke down? Well, you need to call Cord. Who's Cord you say? Well, Cord Cryer is about the most dependable reliable man you will find in four counties. He's got the place over there on the hill where he's working on all those old windmills. Yeah, that's the guy. He helped me pull my calves out of the mud in a torrential downpour last Spring. He's the man you need to call if you want to get things done!"
That's my boy! Cord Cryer - Man of God, Man of Men, Man of Honor, Man of... never mind. I am rambling!

You are too cute, Andra. I love your vision of Cord Augustus in 30 odd years, I could definately picture the whole scenario in my head.
